If you coincidently have read the story of our Maisie, you’ll understand why she carries „Drama-Queen“ as her nickname – even her first steps into this world and the steps before were a kind of drama.
So, it is not really astonishing, that she follows this path with her first litter. This RR-Litter had as a motto „From apocalypse to apotheosis“ and it is full of it. I’ve never seen so many ups and downs within one litter. Well, in the end stood the apotheosis, so it’s ok, that counts. So, I thought she might do better with a second chance – a litter replay. With a replay she can prove that she can do better than the first time. And she did – the most wonderful and beautiful pus in the galaxy – and completely without the slightest drama.
Tiemen, That’s her lover is a real brick and Nancy, his breeder can only say positive things about him. His pedigree is still one-of-a-kind, the genes match perfectly to Maisie’s. The RR-Litter was outstanding, we kept Shuri out of it. So everything speaks for a da capo. So, let’s do it!
As uzsual we start with the official presentation of the happy parents and the outstanding pedigree:
The mating was as satisfying as the first – for both of them. It was a perfect replay – they met before, they know each other. There was only one objection against this mating in Belgium: Our old warhorse, the Vectra:“ The last time in Belgium I had immense braking-ache. Who knows what comes now? The weather foirecast is as bad, sorry, but I’ll call in sick!“
Wether the old Vectra had a real sick problem or was only simulating, we’ll never know, however, we had to take a rental car. It had to be the one and only winter week of the whole year, we had to drive through meter high snow and ice.
Well, we made it and everything else was perfect. Mating ok, pregnancy too and the whelping went like baking bread. In only two hours nine puppies – four boys and five girls
Did I say this already? – Of coarse the most beautiful, cool, phat, clever and and and Pups of the whole galaxy:
The upbringing was honky-dory too. a very balanced litter, no fraidy-cats, no chief chaotics. no bully-heads. Only lovable, friendly, active, cuddling, ideal pups. But take a look by yourself – here comes the world-famous carousel:
